About the Author: Susan Sickles lives in Glenville, NY with her husband Dave and her two children, Lindsay and Drew, both of whom attend college full time. Susan has a love of books that was passed on to her from her father, Stanley, which remains to this day. As a child, she would make up little short stories, usually about a mouse family, and has always had in the back of her mind that someday she wanted to write a book. Susan is a pet owner of rats and dogs, and the animals in her story are based on her own pets.
